Can one page be enough? What a landing page really is
A complete site can impress. But for many projects, a single well-thought page does all the work: telling your story, and leading your visitor towards one action.
It is called a landing page: the one your visitor arrives on, and where everything is decided.
One story, from beginning to end
A landing page reads like a narrative. At the top, a clear promise: what you do, for whom, and what your visitor gains from it. Then each section answers the question that naturally comes next: what does it look like, how does it work, how much does it cost, who are you. And at the end, a single invitation, placed at the moment the desire is there.
You have an example in front of you: eyn.art is built exactly like that. One long page that tells my two trades, answers the questions in the order they arrive, and leads towards a single gesture: writing to me.
That is what makes the format so effective. The visitor's attention goes entirely to the same place. You have all the room you need to convince, and they have only one thing to decide.
One goal, chosen in advance
Before drawing anything, we decide together what this page has to achieve. A quote request, a booking, a purchase, an application, a call.
That goal guides everything else: what goes at the top, what gets developed, what is shown in images, and the shape the final invitation takes. A page that knows what it wants achieves far more than a page that simply presents a company.
What a single page can tell
The format fits many more situations than you would imagine. A few examples among the ones I meet most often.
A product, from discovery to purchase
The page presents the product, shows what it looks like, details what it does, gives the price and lets you buy it. The whole journey fits in one descent, without ever breaking the momentum.
A service and its results
You explain what you do, for whom, with a few projects as proof, and you end on the quote request. It is the most frequent format among freelancers and small companies.
Your team's life, to recruit
A page that tells your daily life, your way of working, what it feels like to walk through the door in the morning. It makes people want to join you and ends on a spontaneous application.
An event, an opening, a date
What is happening, when, where, and the button to book a place.
Something new in a company that is already established
A new service, a new range, a new location. The page lives next to your main site and focuses attention on that one announcement.
A page for a season, which is the advert itself
A seasonal communication, a competition, a special sale limited in time. The page lives for the length of the campaign, with its own mood and its own boldness, then makes way for the next one. That is exactly the kind of creation you entrust to an artist: here, the page does not present your advert, it is the advert.
And when there are several stories? Several landing pages
A single page does its job very well as long as there is one story to tell. When there are several, each deserves its own.
That is even where the format becomes most powerful. A well-built multi-page site is a collection of landing pages: one per service, one per audience, one per question your clients type into Google. Each tells its complete story, each becomes a way in from the search engines, and each leads towards its goal.
The good news is that these two paths are one. We start with the page carrying your most important story. The next ones come along when they have something to tell, on foundations already ready to welcome them.
How long, and how much?
A landing page takes 2 to 4 weeks between the brief and going live, the pace depending mostly on our exchanges and on your content.
On the budget side, my starting package begins at 950 € excl. VAT for a complete page. The right price then depends on your story: the length of the page, the visuals to create, a particular form, a mood drawn to measure. Every project gets its quote, clear and announced before we begin.
Conclusion
The single page of a site, a sales page inside a bigger project, or an artistic and short-lived creation for your communication: the landing page is an essential format, and its impact is real when it is designed to measure, by an artist who draws it for you. That is exactly my starting package: one page that tells your story and pursues your goal. Discover what it includes, or tell me about your project directly: the conversation starts whenever you want.
