Privacy policy
The short version: this site sets one cookie, and only if you pick a language, keeps no tracker on your device, and collects personal data only when you choose to send it to us.

eyn.art is run by EYN SRL, a Belgian company (BE 0756 645 332). For anything about your data, write to hello@eyn.art.
One cookie, for the language
If you pick a language with the English/Français links, we store that choice in a cookie named lang. It holds one of two values, en or fr, for a year. It exists so the site opens in the language you chose rather than the one your browser announces, and it is written only when you click: nothing is stored if you never touch the switch.
It carries no identifier, follows you nowhere, and is never used for statistics or advertising. Under the ePrivacy rules a preference cookie set on your own explicit action does not require consent, which is why there is still no cookie banner. You can delete it in your browser at any time; the site keeps working, it will simply follow your browser's language again.
Anonymous analytics
We use Umami, an open-source analytics tool, self-hosted on our own server. It counts page views and aggregates anonymous signals such as browser type, country and referring site. It sets no cookies, stores no personal identifiers, and never follows you across other sites. The numbers stay on our server and are shared with no one.
It also counts what a page is used for: the links and buttons that get clicked, with the words printed on them and the section they sit in, how far down a page is read, and how long a visit lasts. Those numbers are what show us which parts of the site are useful and which ones deserve clearer writing. What you type stays yours and out of them: no name, no address and no message ever travels with a count.
The project brief
When you send the start form, the details you type (your name, email address and your answers about the project) travel to our own server and land in our private workspace so we can reply. We use them only to answer you and prepare your proposal. They are never sold, shared for marketing, or added to any mailing list. Write to hello@eyn.art if you want a brief you sent deleted.
The callback request
If you use the callback form, the phone number you give, the moment you pick and your optional note are emailed to Lexy Callemeyn, who runs the studio and is the only person who reads them, and are written to a log file on our own server. They serve to call you back and nothing else: no mailing list, no advertising, no sharing with anyone.
If you arrived from a personalised link, the short label it carries (something like toiture-dupont, so I know which message you are answering) travels with the request too. They are deleted at the latest 30 days after the call, unless our exchange continues, in which case they become part of the project file described above. You can ask for them to be deleted sooner at any moment at hello@eyn.art.
If you email us, your message stays in our mailbox. We keep it for as long as we work together, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete any personal data we hold about you. One email to hello@eyn.art is enough. If you feel your data was not handled fairly, you can contact the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
Changes
If our practices change, this page changes with them, with the date above updated.
